How To Participate in Clean Technology 2008

Proposals submitted to speak at Clean Technology 2008 should address: emerging technologies, clean business practices, funding or licensing. Clean Technology 2008’s selection committee is looking to feature speakers from a growing set of technologies, products or services aimed at improving performance, productivity or efficiency while reducing energy and operating costs, as well as waste or pollution.

Clean Technology 2008 welcomes submissions that describe the impact from clean and sustainable technologies and processes on traditional industries, including Agriculture; Automotive; Building; Chemical; Coal; Food Production; Manufacturing; Nuclear; Oil & Gas; Paper; Semiconductor; and Transportation.

  2. Create a PDF© file of your paper (do not encrypt or password protect)
  3. Upload PDF© file of your paper (due 3/14/2008)
  4. Mail or FAX signed copyright form (due 3/14/2008)

  6. Optionally register for the Clean Technology Industrial Impact Workshop
  7. Book hotel room (due 3/14/2008)

Late News Abstracts

In an effort to disseminate the latest research in the growing clean technology community, Late News Abstracts are being accepted for Poster Presentation Only on-site. Late News Abstracts are not published in the conference technical proceedings. Invited Speakers are still invited to submit their talk information here. General Abstract Submission for oral presentation consideration has been closed at this time.

Participation Limitations

Submission Guidelines

When you complete the online submission form, you are submitting your IP or Venture for Board review and possible presentation at the TechConnect Summit, to be held June 3-5, 2008, at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

All required fields (marked with a *) must be completed. The required fields comprise key information that assists the Board in reviewing your submission properly. Submissions that have missing information in required fields will not be reviewed for Summit consideration.

Accepted Submissions

If your IP or Venture is selected for presentation at the TechConnect Summit, we will notify you by email. All presenters are expected to pre-register no later than April 11, 2008, at: http://www.techconnect.org/Summit2008/register.html

There is a fee to present at the Summit. The registration fee includes:

  • Cumulative feedback on your submission from the TechConnect Board review team
  • Listing of IP or Venture executive summary in printed Program Guide and Summit web pages
  • Access to all TechConnect Sessions, Networking Events, and Luncheons
  • Access to Nanotech 2008 Conference and Trade Show (June 1-5), co-located with TechConnect at the Hynes Convention Center.
  • Access to networking software that allows you to connect with attendees for networking or meeting purposes
